5 Months with Cameron

FIELD TRIP #5: RIVER VALLEY FOOD FOR KIDS

It was windy and cool today but we helped River Valley Food for Kids load food for the backpack program in our vehicle and then delivered it to Pottsville High School. For kids who don't have enough to eat, this organization fills a backpack with food for the weekends. It's a great program and we were happy to have a very small part in helping!

After that we ran a few errands including Wal Mart. Maybe someday we can go there without him asking for something on every aisle. It's beginning to be a habit and not fun to take him there. Another goal: contentment.

LIGHTBULB MOMENT:

Cameron was laying on the living room floor yesterday afternoon and trying to decide what to do while Jordan and I were both reading or something (because we can entertain ourselves for more than a minute).

He's looking at the ceiling and says, "Mom, there are three rows of lights up there. And there are four across there. I could count them all, but I can times 3 and 4 and know there are 12 lights."

A LITERAL LIGHTBULB MOMENT.
I can hardly wait for the next one.
