5 Months with Cameron

PENCILS:

It reminds me of when we trained our kids to eat in a high chair. If they dropped food, or threw it off their tray, we didn't give it back to them. Well, we did the first few hundred times, and then we got smart!

Cameron has dropped his pencil from the table approximately 5,687 times this week. 687 of those times are today. He'll work with the pink striped pencil...and then he can pick the others up when we're done.

HOLIDAY, NOPE.

It's MLK day and Rsvl is out of school. Cam had a friend spend the night, he's played nerf wars and dressed up and raced on the wii. He's played outside in the rain and eaten enough Jolly Ranchers to smell like a grape/cherry/watermelon.

So, when all the friends went home and most of the nerf bullets were back in their bucket, we headed to Sheridan's volleyball practice. I took my laptop (which I had failed to charge), Jordan took a book, and Cam (unbeknownst to him) had math sheets, a reading book, and some thank you notes to write. We have books, we will travel.

He balked at first, but #repetition is our goal. He chased volleyballs for the girls, played on some stairs, and then came back to finish some more work.
