Cam has picked out a book for us to read! He is so excited about it we've saved it for the end of the day. UNFORTUNATELY, he's made some crazy choices (delaying his work for hours instead of minutes, losing his privileges in the afternoons, sentence writing and the like) and we haven't gotten to it.
I'm so STINKIN' excited he's WANTING TO READ and don't want to squelch that...we'll get to FLAT STANLEY soon!
PROGRESS:
NOT EVEN SURE HOW THIS HAPPENED...but Cameron has expanded his vocabulary and his imagination in the last few weeks. I challenged him not to make "I like..." sentences.
I like clouds.
I like rest.
I like pencils.
NOT very creative but technically sentences...
He's enjoyed the challenge of putting two words in a sentence and it's made him think outside his little bitty imagination.
Yay!
