December 29th Christmas at Home

This is the latest we have every celebrated Christmas at home, but it was worth every anticipation! Katelyn and Ryan made it to Russellville and it was on! Dinner, laughter, comfy clothes, love notes, presents and noise: Christmas at Home!

Not gonna lie, there's some tension in our home. As much as we work on family, we all have blind spots and the older we all get and stronger in our personalities and convictions, we have some disagreements. We do love each other. I have no doubt any person in my family would save another, but right now, we are struggling to like the actions of all. It's been a difficult season, but the HOPE of Jesus is more and more needed during the dark times. I write this not to highlight the situation but to remember how God works before us and with us. He never leaves us. He is our refuge and our strength. Every moment is definitely not a Hallmark one. Our foundation of a strong family identity and our hope in God's sovereignty is what's we're holding on to right now.

King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Prince of Peace and the Messiah.
