Last year Jordan and Sheridan were on competitive club volleyball teams. They both learned a lot but the commitment and the cost were very high. We decided they could play again this year but would do the smaller commitment and cost option of a "training team."
Richard had to recruit some players from CCS to fill out the team, and there were only about 3 times that they all even came to practices! HOWEVER, our last event was a tournament was in Conway and the girls PULLED IT ALL TOGETHER.
Sheridan, the oldest in the club, was a leader on the floor and the other gals, (most from CCS) played STRONG. They played REALLY WELL, and ended up beating one of the other Russellville clubs at the end of the day. I wish they had a few more opportunities to hone those skills but that was it! Thankful!
