Day 3 started out fun...we knew there was rain in the forecast so we started early and made plans to ride our favorite ride (Pandora) early! After a quick ride we enjoyed more of Animal Kingdom, making sure to see The Lion King musical which is amazing! The rain had picked up during the day, Disney and Disney guests simply pull on ponchos. We had ours on and off for the whole afternoon.
Late afternoon we called it and jumped on a bus and headed for the hotel. Flights were cancelled for the following day, so we were trying to figure out different arrangements including another motel as our reservation was up the next day too. We ended up moving to another motel closer to the airport. We also could not hardly watch the news as the only thing on tv was the hurricane. Interesting to know that Disney doesn't close often. The only change they made to their schedule was to cancel the fireworks during the evening and open 2 hours late the next day...we are fortunate we got all the fun out of our three days at the park!
