Thanksgiving is our favorite because it's just all about family and food. I mean, what's bad about that?? The blondies started our day out with monkey bread and we were instantly off to a great start. Our friends who cooked a turkey for us actually sent us home with TWO turkeys (one fried) and they were delicious!
We also had ham, hashbrown casserole, green beans, rolls, corn casserole and pumpkin cupcakes (muffins). My mom brought pecan pies...FOUR of them.
We loved having Mimi and Grandma and Grandpa Boogaart at our house for the holiday. This was also Lane's first time to be with ALL OF US IN ONE PLACE, so that was an experience I'm sure he'll recover from soon. We do tend to talk over one another, I didn't notice until lately when we've had guests and wondered what they must think about that. It's nothing for me to stop, it's good that they all get along.
Friday morning Grandma and Grandpa took us all to Cracker Barrel for a big breakfast together. They enjoyed getting out and seeing everyone. I have a great family.
