Journey West

Jordan has been in Montana since September. We talk to her every Wednesday and she is doing really well. She has had a few bad days, but recovered super quickly. She is learning so much and is constantly growing in skills to communicate, lead and learn. We flew to see her and attend a workshop over the weekend. We didn't know how much we would learn! It was humbling and encouraging. We were so thankful to learn new things to help us parent better and communicate better with our kids. We met new friends whose daughters are at Reflections. The best things was getting to know the ladies who are helping Jordan now. They are so good at what they do and we trust them more than ever. Because Jordan was doing well, we actually got to bring her home on medical leave. She hurt her knee in Alabama last year and recently has tweaked it again. She needed to see an orthopedic doctor and we needed her to do it in Arkansas.
We had a great visit with her. UG came over and gave her braids, Erin came and visited, and we all got to catch up with her. She ended up having a torn ACL and needs surgery. Richard has worked all the moving pieces so she could stay here an additional week and get the surgery and start recovery. It's been so good to see her, (the loving, respectful, precious Jordan) and so thankful for our community who will get her fixed and on her way. She even gets to do PT by Skype in Montana!
