We've never had a more laid-back Christmas! We made sure to talk to all our grandparents. Ryan and Jordan both talked to us as well. We took our time opening presents, cooking lunch (simple of course), taking pics, playing games, and talking together. Most of us were in pjs during the whole day and also listened to a lot of Christmas music in the background of all our noise. I loved it!
It's hard to not have everyone here. It's hard to not take pictures of everyone and want to share them. I couldn't even get a Christmas card out. We're not complete without everyone. We knew these times would come with Ryan. His job duties and locations will be in flex as long as he's in the Army. We couldn't have predicted not having J here. She's safe and that's what matters right now. We prayed for her and talked about her several times today. Next year hopefully, we'll all be together and healthy again.
