This morning I planted daffodil and tulip bulbs in my NEW FLOWER BED! Richard knows how much flowers make me happy, and the seeds I planted in pots haven't had a good turnout this year. He measured and cut and built this super bed for me for my birthday. He finished it during my event and this morning with the sun rising and a cool breeze, I planted the ugliest bulbs in the rich soil. It's amazing what is happening even now under that dirt! Such a good life lesson to be willing to get dirty and ugly to have the best outcome in the future. I can't wait to see what happens in the spring! And yes, I couldn't find my spade...only this little one. It worked fine.
