While walking into church on Sunday, May 19th, Richard received a call that his dad had died. It wasn't unexpected, but you can't ever be prepared to lose your family. Gramps has not been well. He wasn't himself, and yet ALL of us had a great last word with him. He even said, "Bye Pal" to Richard at the end of his last visit.
Gramps left a HUGE legacy to us all in the importance of FAMILY, FAITH and PATRIOTISM. It was an honor to see him laid to rest and honored in a funeral at his church in Heber Springs and at a full military burial in Fayetteville. So thankful Gramps was confident in his relationship with the Lord. Mimi has been a champion for marriage and love during this last year. May we always be willing to do the same.
