Gramps isn't doing well. His body and mind just aren't keeping up. Mimi has been taking care of him full time, and we've all been dropping in more to visit. Sometimes Gramps can't communicate well or get around. Cameron sat down last Saturday and talked Gramps into a rousing game of War. Cameron had NO BIG cards and lost in a just a few hands, and he was absolutely precious about it. I just had to capture this game. Neither of them saw it for anything but a game, but I saw a lot of preciousness in the moment.
A mom friend sent me this second photo. This is one of Cameron's friends from school. I love their smiles.
