WILDERNESS WILDLIFE SAFARI...in Arkansas

I've always heard about this place but never had taken the time to go. Richard planned the day and we drove the 2.5 hours to Gentry to try something neither of us had ever done. We were impressed. We didn't get the sad feeling we get every time we go to the zoo...the animals are free and in grassy fields with water and trees and it was cool! I've never seen so many wild/tame deer on one place. They roamed the entire place, they were beautiful. We say everything from zebras to camels...wolves, kangaroos (which Richard, Jordan and Cameron petted!), giraffes, a rhinoceros, monkeys, bears, lions (who were napping), ligers and MORE! It was a PERFECT WEATHER day, which is a big deal this HOT summer. The kids enjoyed it...even Jordan, who still has quite a fear of birds and detests bugs.
